- Wash and trim the green beans. Pat them dry with a paper towel to ensure they get nice and crispy when cooked.
- Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the green beans and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes until they become bright green and slightly tender but still crisp.
- Add the minced garlic (if using) and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the soy sauce and honey, stirring to coat all the green beans evenly. Continue cooking for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and glazes the beans.
- Remove from heat and toss with toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
