  • 4 medium apples, peeled and sliced (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith work well)
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with coconut oil or cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the sliced apples with half of the cinnamon. Arrange them evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the rolled oats, almond flour, remaining cinnamon, nutmeg, chopped nuts, and sea salt.
  4. Add the melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined and crumbly.
  5. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the apples in the baking dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender when pierced with a fork.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Make Ahead: Prepare the crumble topping and apple mixture separately the night before. In the morning, simply assemble and bake for a quick breakfast. Fruit Variations: Try adding pears, berries, or peaches along with the apples for different flavor combinations.
