Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie chicken works great!)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Fresh chives or green onions for garnish

Method

Instructions
  1. Start by prepping your slow cooker. Spray the insert with non-stick cooking spray to make cleanup easier later.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, buffalo sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until smooth and well-combined.
  3. Add the shredded chicken to the slow cooker, followed by the cream cheese mixture. Stir gently to coat all the chicken evenly.
  4. Dot the top of the mixture with butter pieces, then sprinkle the shredded cheeses over everything.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 2-3 hours or on HIGH for 1-2 hours. Stir occasionally to help everything melt together evenly.
  6. Once the cheese is fully melted and the dip is heated through, give it one final stir. Garnish with fresh chives or green onions before serving.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for best flavor, adjust buffalo sauce to taste preference, ensure cream cheese is properly softened to avoid lumps, and utilize the crockpot's keep warm setting for parties.
