Ingredients

Ingredients
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • ¾ cup Buffalo sauce
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
  • ¼ cup green onions, chopped

Method

Instructions
  1. Prepare Ingredients - Shred your cooked chicken using two forks or a stand mixer. Allow cream cheese to come to room temperature for easier mixing.
  2. Combine Base Ingredients - In your crockpot, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, and Buffalo sauce. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Add Chicken and Cheese - Stir in the shredded chicken and 1 cup of the cheddar cheese until everything is evenly distributed.
  4. Slow Cook to Perfection - Cover and cook on LOW for 2-3 hours or on HIGH for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally, until the dip is hot and bubbly.
  5. Finish and Serve - Just before serving, sprinkle the remaining ½ cup cheddar cheese and blue cheese (if using) on top. Garnish with green onions and serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or carrot sticks.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken for easiest preparation. Adjust Buffalo sauce amount for preferred spice level. Use block cream cheese for best texture. Can be prepared a day in advance and refrigerated.
