  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • Cooking spray or butter for greasing

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 8x8 inch baking dish or similar-sized oven-safe dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Cut each cinnamon roll into 4-6 smaller pieces. Arrange the pieces evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. Open the can of apple pie filling and spoon it evenly over the cinnamon roll pieces. Gently mix everything together in the baking dish to distribute the apples throughout.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through. The edges should be slightly crispy while the center remains soft and gooey.
  5. Remove from oven and immediately drizzle the included icing over the top. Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving to allow the icing to melt into the bake.

Notes

Assemble the entire bake the night before, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate. In the morning, bake as directed (you may need to add 5-10 extra minutes). Add chopped pecans or walnuts for extra crunch, or sprinkle with brown sugar before baking for a caramelized top.
