- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, toss the trimmed green beans with olive oil, making sure they're evenly coated. This helps them crisp up beautifully in the oven.
- Add minced garlic, salt, pepper, and optional paprika to the green beans. Toss again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
- Spread the green beans in a single layer on your prepared baking sheet. This ensures they roast rather than steam, giving you that perfect crispy texture.
- Roast for 12-15 minutes, or until the green beans are tender-crisp and starting to brown at the edges. Halfway through, give them a quick stir for even cooking.
- Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese. The residual heat will melt the cheese perfectly. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
