Marry Me Chicken Pasta

A delightful creamy pasta dish featuring tender chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh basil, perfect for romantic dinners or special occasions.

  • 8 oz Penne Pasta
  • 2 Chicken Breasts
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, season the chicken with salt and pepper, and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. Add minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes to the skillet and sauté for a couple of minutes until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine, creating the sauce.
  5. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
  6. Mix in grated Parmesan cheese and fresh basil until cheese is melted.
  7. Combine the cooked pasta with the chicken and sauce, tossing well to coat.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with additional basil if desired.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with chicken broth.
