White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and gather your baking tools.
  2. Cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then stir in vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients, being careful not to over-mix.
  4. Fold in white chocolate chips and dried cranberries until evenly distributed.
  5. Shape the dough into balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them adequately.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown. Let cool on baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For thicker cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking. These cookies can be frozen or stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
