  • 4 cups bread cubes
  • 2 tablespoons sage
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then sauté onion and celery until soft (5-7 minutes).
  3. In a large bowl, mix together bread cubes, sautéed vegetables, sage, cranberries, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour in broth and mix until bread is moist but not soggy.
  5. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized balls.
  6. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
