Tater Tot Casserole

A warm and comforting dish combining crispy tater tots, creamy vegetables, and melted cheese, perfect for family dinners or potlucks.

  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as bell peppers, spinach, and onions)
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: breadcrumbs for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and add salt and pepper to taste. Stir well.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables and stir until everything is evenly coated.
  4. In a greased casserole dish, spread half of the frozen tater tots evenly on the bottom.
  5. Pour the vegetable mixture over the first layer of tater tots and spread it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheese on top.
  7. Top with the remaining tater tots and add more cheese or breadcrumbs if desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 to 35 minutes, until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Customize with different veggies or cheese types; can add cooked meat for extra protein.
