Sweet and Spicy Ground Turkey & Broccoli Bowls

A flavorful, healthy one-skillet meal featuring ground turkey and broccoli with a sweet and spicy sauce.

  • 1 cup rice or quinoa
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp sriracha

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice or quinoa according to package directions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it apart, for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in broccoli florets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and sriracha.
  6. Pour the sauce over the turkey and broccoli mixture and stir to coat.
  7. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
  8. Scoop the mixture over servings of rice or quinoa and enjoy.

Notes

Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions for added flavor. Adjust spiciness according to preference.
