Spooky Eyeball Olive Puffs

Delicious and visually eye-catching cheesy puffs filled with olives, perfect for Halloween celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet Frozen puff pastry (Thawed for easy rolling)
  • 1 large Egg (Whisked for egg wash)
  • 24 pieces Pimento-stuffed green olives (Provides the spooky effect)
  • 1 cup Finely shredded cheddar cheese (For a cheesy flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the puff pastry to about ¼ inch thick. Cut into 2-inch squares.
  3. Place a small amount of cheddar cheese in the center of each pastry square.
  4. Place a pimento-stuffed green olive on top of the cheese and press gently to secure.
  5. Fold the corners of the pastry over the olive to create a pouch and pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Brush the tops with the whisked egg.
  7. Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

These puffs are best served warm but can also be enjoyed at room temperature. For added fun, serve with spooky decorations or dips.
