1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup packed light or dark brown sugar
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 large eggs
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Substitution: Coconut oil, margarine, coconut sugar, white sugar, honey, agave syrup, flax egg, applesauce, whole wheat flour, baking powder, sea salt
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup until light and fluffy.
