Sesame Honey Cookies

A delightful treat combining tahini’s rich flavor with honey’s natural sweetness, perfect for various occasions.

  • 1 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Sesame seeds for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine tahini, honey, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Stir in the flour, baking soda, salt, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Drop dollops of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  5. Gently flatten each dollop and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are golden.
  7. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Measure ingredients carefully, use fresh tahini, and do not overbake for best results.
