Salted Caramel Apple Mini Pies

Delightful mini pies filled with sweet and savory apple and salted caramel, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 4 cups apples, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup salted caramel sauce
  • Flour for dusting
  • Egg wash (1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crusts on a floured surface and cut circles for muffin tin.
  3. Mix sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice until well coated.
  4. Fill pie crust circles in the muffin tin with the apple mixture.
  5. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apples.
  6. Cover with another pie crust circle and pinch edges to seal.
  7. Brush tops with egg wash.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using a blend of different apple varieties.
