Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 large egg

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Carefully fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between them.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
