Kid’s Halloween Breakfast

A fun and colorful breakfast recipe to get kids excited for Halloween.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • Food coloring (orange and black)
  • Halloween-shaped cookie cutters
  • Sprinkles (optional)
  • Butter or oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Use cookie cutters to cut fun shapes out of the slices of bread.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs and milk together and divide the mixture into two bowls.
  3. Add food coloring to each bowl, making one orange and the other black.
  4. Heat a pan over medium heat and add butter or oil.
  5. Dip each piece of bread into the orange egg mixture, ensuring it’s well coated. Cook until golden brown on one side, then flip to cook the other side.
  6. Repeat with the black egg mixture and the other shaped bread.
  7. Serve the colorful bread warm on a spooky-themed plate, adding sprinkles if desired.

Notes

Store leftover slices in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat in the toaster or on a heated pan.
