  • 2 unbaked Flaky Pie Crust
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 cup add-ins (roasted veggies, cooked meats, or herbs)
  • 1/2 cup shredded or crumbled cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and cut into small circles for the muffin tin.
  3. Press each circle into the muffin tin to create pastry cups.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and heavy cream.
  5. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Mix in your choice of add-ins.
  7. Add shredded or crumbled cheese and mix well.
  8. Fill the crusts with the egg mixture, about three-quarters full.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until set and golden.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before removing from the muffin tin.
  11. Serve warm or at room temperature.

These mini quiches are versatile and can be customized with various ingredients. Use muffin liners for easy removal and consider pre-baking the crusts for a crisper texture.
