Irresistible Gingerbread Brownies

Gingerbread brownies blend the rich, fudgy texture of brownies with the spicy, aromatic essence of gingerbread, perfect for holiday gatherings.

  • 1 cup Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon Ground ginger
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons Molasses
  • 1 cup Confectioners’ sugar (to dust on top)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar, whisking until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla, whisking together until thoroughly mixed.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, ginger, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in molasses until well incorporated.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then slice and cool completely on a wire rack.
  10. Dust with confectioners’ sugar before serving.
