Hot Chocolate Biscotti

Delightful Hot Chocolate Biscotti, perfect for dunking in warm beverages, combining rich flavors of cocoa and dark chocolate.

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate
  • 1 cup Mini Dehydrated Marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream the unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  4. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low until just combined.
  6. Fold in the dark chocolate and mini marshmallows.
  7. Divide the dough in half, shape into logs about 12 inches long and 2-3 inches wide on the baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until firm but slightly soft in the center.
  9. Let cool for 20 minutes, then slice each log diagonally into ¾-inch thick slices.
  10. Return the slices to the oven for 10-15 minutes until crisp and dry.
  11. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.

Notes
