Homemade Pumpkin Pie

A delightful homemade pumpkin pie filled with warm spices, perfect for fall and holiday celebrations.

  • 1 pie crust
  • 2 cups canned pumpkin puree
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup evaporated milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine canned pumpkin puree, sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, ground cloves, and salt. Stir until mixed.
  3. Beat in the three large eggs until well blended.
  4. Pour in the evaporated milk and stir until smooth.
  5. Pour the pumpkin filling into the prepared pie crust.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for an additional 35-40 minutes, or until set.
  8. Let the pie cool before serving.
