Greek Turkey Meatballs

A flavorful twist on traditional meatballs using ground turkey, feta cheese, and fresh herbs. Perfect for busy weeknights or casual dinners.

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, feta cheese, parsley, lemon zest, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  4. Form the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let cool slightly before serving with tzatziki sauce or over rice.

Notes

For added flavor, serve with tzatziki sauce, or incorporate vegetables into the meatball mix. They can be baked or skillet-cooked for a crispy exterior.
