Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for frying)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for sauce)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 12 oz spaghetti or linguine (cooked according to package instructions)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, beaten egg, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly and form small balls.
  2. In a skillet, heat butter and cook the chicken balls for about 6-8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic. Add heavy cream and chicken broth, simmering for about 5 minutes before adding Parmesan cheese and seasoning.
  4. Add cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Incorporate chicken balls and serve warm with optional garnishes.

Notes

For a healthier option, substitute ground chicken with ground turkey. You can also bake the chicken balls at 400°F for 20-25 minutes instead of frying.
