Garlic Bread Rolls

Fluffy, golden rolls infused with garlic and topped with rich butter, perfect for any meal.

  • 4.5 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Minced Garlic
  • 3.5 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 3 tablespoons Chopped Fresh Parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
  • 2.25 teaspoons Instant Yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Fine Sea Salt
  • 1 cup Whole or 2% Milk (warmed to 110°F)
  • 1 Large Egg
  • Beaten Egg (for brushing)
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (for garlic butter)
  • 1 tablespoon Minced Garlic (for garlic butter)
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped Fresh Parsley (for garlic butter)
  • Flaky Sea Salt (for finishing)

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients.
  2. Warm the milk to about 110°F.
  3. Activate the yeast by combining warm milk, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit until frothy.
  4. Mix flour, sea salt, and parsley in a large bowl, then add the yeast mixture, egg, and melted butter.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  6. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl, covered, for 1-2 hours until it doubles in size.
  7. Prepare garlic butter by mixing melted butter, minced garlic, and parsley in a small bowl.
  8. Once risen, punch down the dough, divide it, and shape into balls.
  9. Let the shaped dough rise again for 30-40 minutes until puffed.
  10. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  11. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  12. Bake rolls for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  13. Brush with garlic butter immediately after baking and sprinkle with flaky sea salt.
  14. Cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven to restore fluffiness.
