  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust
  • 1/2 cup of toffee bits
  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and half of the toffee bits. Mix well until the apples are evenly coated.
  • In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the apple mixture and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the apples start to soften. Stir occasionally.
  • Roll out the pie crust and place it into a 9-inch pie dish. Trim any overhanging edges and flute the border as desired.
  • Pour the cooked apple mixture into the pie crust. Sprinkle the remaining toffee bits over the top.
  • Cover the pie with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the crust is golden brown.
