Easy Moist Banana Bread

A beloved classic that transforms ripe bananas into moist and flavorful bread, perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.

  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg (beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray or butter.
  3. Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
  4. Stir in the melted butter into the mashed bananas until well combined.
  5. Add sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract; mix until evenly blended.
  6. Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture; stir gently to combine.
  7. Add all-purpose flour and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  9. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Remove from oven, cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
