1 pound ground beef or turkey
2 cups marinara sauce
8 cups chicken or vegetable broth
8 ounces uncooked pasta
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Fresh basil for garnish
In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add the ground meat and cook until browned. Drain excess fat, if necessary.
Add the marinara sauce, broth, and Italian seasoning to the pot. Stir until well combined.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to a simmer.
Add the uncooked pasta and cook according to package directions, stirring occasionally, until al dente.
Once the pasta is cooked, remove the pot from the heat. Stir in the cheese until melted and creamy.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil and additional cheese if desired.
