Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, vegetable oil, and sugar. Mix until well incorporated. Then add the eggs, mixing again until smooth.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Gradually add the dry ingredient mix to the wet ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix!
Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula.
Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Slice and serve your delicious pumpkin bread warm or at room temperature.
