Delicious Smoked Fish Dip

A creamy and flavorful smoked fish dip, perfect for gatherings and entertaining.

  • 8 oz Smoked Whitefish (trout, bass, or halibut)
  • 0.25 cup Mayonnaise
  • 8 oz Whipped Cream Cheese (at room temperature)
  • 0.5 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 0.5 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest
  • 3 tbsp Red Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Dill (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Debone and flake the smoked fish into large pieces. Finely chop the red onion and dill; set aside.
  2. Mix the Base: In a large mixing bowl, combine the whipped cream cheese and mayonnaise until fully blended and creamy.
  3. Add the Flavorings: Add Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, lemon juice, lemon zest, and the flaked smoked fish to the mixture and gently fold to combine.
  4. Incorporate Vegetables: Add chopped red onion and dill; fold gently until just combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Chill the Dip: Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour, or overnight for best flavor.
  6. Serve: Stir the dip before serving and transfer to a bowl.
