Crunchy Cornflake Chicken Tenders

A fun and easy meal that kids and adults will love, with delicious chicken tenders coated in crunchy cornflakes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 2 cups cornflakes, crushed
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Cooking spray or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it with cooking spray.
  2. Set up your breading station with three bowls: one with flour and spices, one with beaten eggs, and one with crushed cornflakes.
  3. Coat each chicken tender in the flour mixture, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the crushed cornflakes.
  4. Place the coated chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).

Notes

Double-coat for extra crunch and serve with a variety of dipping sauces.
