Creamy Chipotle Chicken Sliders

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup creamy chipotle sauce
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (either cheddar or pepper jack)
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Tomato slices
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add olive oil. Cook the chicken until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  3. Remove the chicken and let it cool for a few minutes, then shred it using two forks.
  4. In the same skillet, mix the shredded chicken with the creamy chipotle sauce until well coated.
  5. On a baking sheet, layer each slider bun with the shredded chicken mixture, then top with shredded cheese, lettuce, and tomato slices.
  6. Place the top buns on each slider.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are crispy.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Use leftover chicken for a quicker preparation. Feel free to adjust spice levels and toppings as desired.
