Cranberry Jalapeño Cream Cheese Dip

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 12 jalapeños, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)
  • Crackers for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, jalapeños, sugar, and lime juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the cranberries start to burst and the mixture thickens, about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  3. Spread the softened cream cheese on a serving platter.
  4. Spoon the cranberry jalapeño mixture over the cream cheese, covering it evenly.
  5. If desired, garnish with freshly chopped cilantro.
  6. Serve with your choice of crackers.

Notes

Adjust jalapeño quantity for desired spice level. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
