Cheesy Witch Hat Crescents

A fun and easy snack perfect for Halloween gatherings, featuring melted cheese in flaky crescent rolls shaped like witch hats.

  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Black olives (for decoration)
  • Optional: spices like garlic powder or Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to crescent roll package instructions.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. Place a tablespoon of shredded cheese at the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll the dough from the wide end to the point, shaping it like a hat.
  5. Place the rolled crescents on a baking sheet.
  6. Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each crescent for a golden finish.
  7. Use a small piece of black olive to create the ‘witch hat’ decoration on top.
  8. Bake according to package instructions, usually around 10-12 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving and enjoy your spooky snacks!

Notes
