Cheesy Halloween Breadstick Bones

Spooky and fun cheesy breadsticks shaped like bones, perfect for Halloween gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • All-purpose flour (for dusting)
  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Let the pizza dough sit at room temperature. Dust your surface with flour and divide the dough into 10 equal pieces.
  3. Roll each piece into an 8-inch long rope, making the ends slightly thicker to resemble bones. Snip each end of the rope about 1 inch deep and gently pull apart.
  4. Place the shaped breadsticks on the lined baking sheets, leaving space between them.
  5. Brush melted butter over each breadstick and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes until they start to puff and turn light golden.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top. Return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving warm with marinara sauce.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. For longer storage, refrigerate, but best enjoyed fresh. Reheat in the oven.
