Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 sheets Refrigerated crescent roll sheets
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons Chives (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups Mild cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 cloves Additional garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoons Chives (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll both sheets of the refrigerated crescent roll dough on a clean, flat surface, flattening the seams to create a large rectangle.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped chives, and shredded cheddar cheese; stir well.
  4. Evenly spread the cheese mixture over the rectangle of crescent roll dough.
  5. Roll the dough from the long side towards the opposite end to form a tight log, then gently press to seal the edges.
  6. Cut the log into 12 even slices.
  7. Grease each cup of a muffin tin with melted butter.
  8. Place each slice of dough standing up in the muffin tin, slightly twisting for appeal.
  9. Mix the remaining melted butter, minced garlic, additional chives, and kosher salt; brush generously over the tops of the cruffins.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Allow to cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  12. Enjoy warm.
