Broccoli Cauliflower Casserole

A delicious and creamy casserole combining broccoli and cauliflower, perfect as a side or main dish.

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cauliflower florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Blanch the broccoli and cauliflower in boiling water for 3-5 minutes, then drain.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Fold the blanched vegetables into the cheese mixture until well coated.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if desired.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
