Best Hummus Recipe

A simple and delicious homemade hummus recipe that is healthy and versatile for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt.
  2. Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
  3. Transfer the hummus to a serving dish. Drizzle a bit of olive oil on top and sprinkle with paprika and fresh parsley.
  4. Serve with your choice of vegetables, pita bread, or crackers.

Notes

Hummus can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for 4 to 7 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
