Bacon Brussels Sprouts

A delicious side dish featuring crispy bacon blended with roasted Brussels sprouts, perfect for any meal.

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Chop the bacon and add it to the bowl, mixing everything well.
  5. Spread the mixture onto a baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the Brussels sprouts are crispy and golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired.
  8. Serve warm as a side dish.

Notes

For extra crispiness, spread the sprouts out on the baking sheet without overcrowding. Adjust seasonings to taste, adding smoked paprika for a smoky flavor.
