Hello! I’m Amelia. Thanks so much for visiting my blog.
I’d love to tell you a little about how my passion for cooking first started. I grew up in a small, peaceful town in America, where the skies always felt wide and endless.
As an only child, I spent countless hours at my grandma’s house just next door. Her home always felt so warm and welcoming, and her garden overflowed with colorful flowers and fresh fruits. She adored her garden, especially her tomatoes, herbs, and strawberries. Those strawberries were my favorite—sweet, juicy, and the very taste of summer. They’re a big part of why I still love cooking with fresh ingredients today.
Grandma’s kitchen was pure magic. She had an incredible gift for turning simple ingredients into something unforgettable. Neighbors and friends would often stop by just to enjoy her pies, cookies, or simply the comfort of her smile and a hug.
As a little girl, I would sit and watch her cook, dreaming of one day being just like her. By the time I turned 18, I was spending more and more time in the kitchen, determined to make her proud. Those precious moments with her taught me that cooking is about so much more than food—it’s about love, connection, and bringing people together.
Now at 31, even though my grandma is no longer here, I carry her memory with me every time I cook. This blog is my way of honoring her legacy and passing along the joy and warmth she shared with me.
When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll probably find me with a cup of coffee in hand, scribbling down ideas for new recipes—most of which still feature strawberries! My hope is that these recipes bring a little love and comfort into your home, just as they have in mine.
Thank you for being here and sharing this journey with me!
